The People’s Project has worked and supported numerous schools, nurseries, local organisations and businesses who have helped to enhance the area we live in.

There are numerous historic interpretation boards and murals throughout Castledykes.
History and Heritage – Maxwelltown
Dumfries and Galloway has an amazing history and heritage, including close connections with Robert the Bruce, Robert Burns and JM Barrie.
Planting throughout the town
The People’s Project is responsible for planting in many areas of the town.
Market Square
We have transformed an area of ground at Market Square, Dumfries which had previously become run down and overgrown.
Environment
The People’s Project is committed to encouraging good environmental practices throughout the region.
